Located on North Hero Island, Vermont, close to North Hero Village , the marina is situated in a well-sheltered bay called Carry Bay, making it very safe and secure. The Marina is designed to provide for all the needs of travel-weary yachtsmen and far, far more! There's no place quite like North Hero Marina. It's ideal for a weekend getaway or a full vacation.

We would like to thank all our customers and employees for helping to make North Hero Marina a growing success over the past 3 years and appreciate the positive feedback and suggested opportunities for improvement.
In 2006 and early 2007 we completed a major refurbishment to our main dock system, upgraded the power to the east dock system, added more power to the storage yard and brought all the maintenance current for our 25 Ton Travel Lift. In 2006 we added 6 new moorings and in 2007 we added 12 new slip spaces to accommodate boats up to 45 feet in length. We now have a total of 47 moorings and 92 slip spaces. Also in 2006 we brought in Uncle Buck to run our Bar and Grill. We offer a pleasant range of what we call affordable “beer, bar, boat food” to the wandering mariner only to be topped off by our Sunday brunch – this instantly became very popular so reservations are suggested.
Our major focus now is on supplying an increased wide range of professional services to the boat owner. Every year we expand the products in stock in our ship’s store including the common items for Yamaha, MerCruiser, Yanmar, and Volvo. In 2007 we purchased a 17 ton Pettibone crane with a 60 foot boom for stepping masts. In 2008 we have hired a technician that was a subcontractor to us in 2007 with over 23 years of inboard, I/O, outboard, gas/diesel engine, and marine transmission experience. Other skills available from our long term staff include fiberglass repair and some of the best bottom painting on the lake. We also established a working partnership with Vermont Sailing Partners (www.vtsailing.com) in Winooski, Vermont to provide access to new sails, sail repair and maintenance, and furling systems along with standing rigging, life lines and lazy jack systems.
Our immediate future plans include building a new 60’ X 80’ maintenance facility that will allow us to get boats up to 50’ in length indoors for year round service and maintenance.
